Mezzo-Soprano Hannah Morley currently resides in Birmingham, where she is studying on the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma course in Professional Performance at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the vocal tutelage of Louise Crane.  Hannah is generously supported by the Conservatoire with a scholarship.

 Prior to this Hannah gained her MMus in Vocal and Operatic performance with distinction also at RBC and her BA in Music from Bath Spa University.

Hannah is a Leeds Lieder Young Artist for 2022, along with her duo partner Michael Rose and an Emerging Artist with Clonter Opera Theatre also for 2022 where she took part in their annual Spring Opera Masterclass and Showcase week.

Hannah is the recipient of first prize in the Ashleyan Opera Prize competition and the Edward Brooks Lieder prize, along with third prize in the Edward Brooks English Song prize.

Full operatic roles include Croûte-au-pot in Offenbach’s Mesdames de la Halle , Madge Williams in Stephen Mcneff’s Banished, Miss.Forcible/Other Miss.Forcible in Turnage’s Coraline (For RBC), Dorcas in Arne’s Thomas and Sally (Bath International Festival), The Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas, Juno Orpheus in the Underworld, and Marcellina The Marriage of Figaro (For Bath Spa Opera).

For opera scenes excerpts, Hannah has sung  Dorabella Cosi Fan Tutte, Meg Page Falstaff, Petra A little Night Music (Clonter Opera Theatre), Baba The Rake's Progress, Hermia A Midsummer Night's Dream, Lucretia The Rape of Lucretia, La Maestra delle Novizie Suor Angelica, Orfeo Orfeo ed Euridice (RBC), Angelina La Cenerentola (RBC and Morley Opera), Serafina Il Campanello (Morley Opera).

As an Oratorio soloist Hannah has sung works such as Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Thersienmesse, Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore, Vivald’s Gloria and Saint-Saëns Oratorio de Noël.
